A look from Chanel's Paris-Moscou collection, to debut at the brand's new boutique at Encore Las VegasView Gallery
(NEW YORK) The stores must go on! Chanel is opening a 2,400 square foot space offering ready-to-wear, accessories and fine jewelry at Wynn Encore Las Vegas. Designed by Peter Marino, the boutique boasts its own fine jewelry boutique's salon, library and VIP room.
Design elements evoke Gabrielle "Coco" Chanel's Paris apartment at 31, rue Cambon. The exterior is glazed with woven gold metal, and the interior is rendered in shades of beige and gold. In the fine jewelry boutiqe, antique Coromandel screens are found beside a quartz-encrusted mirror by Paris' Goosens Atelier. Inside the paneled library, the latest watch collections (including the Limited Edition J12 Jewelry Collections) are found alongside two new Premiere Pearl Watches with baguette-cut pink or blue sapphires, exclusive to the Encore location.
To celebrate the opening of the Fine Jewelry Boutique in Encore Wynn, Chanel will display one-of-a-kind diamond pieces from the archives in Paris, along with the "Pluie de Diamant" necklace with a 10-carat center stone. The store will open with 12 looks from the Paris-Moscou collection, shown in Paris this December. The pieces were delivered in honor of Steve Wynn's birthday party this weekend. Additionally, the boutique will stock the Cruise 2009 Collection, shown last April around the art deco pool of the Raleigh Hotel in Miami.
